Minor Victory

In life there are always the little things. Sure, there are major successes, but oftentimes its the little things that end up feeling the best. About a month ago I planted some rose bushes on the side of my house to brighten things up a little bit. When I bought them they had plenty of flowers on them, but the flowers soon fell off as they were supposed to. With all this rain though, they’ve started to show colorful signs of life again and today the first flower produced by my garden popped up. Hopefully more will be on the way.
